What is a
Stun Master™ Stun Baton?
Stun Master™ Stun Batons are a favorite among security
guards because of their power and extended reach. Simply touch an
assailant with the stun baton and pull the trigger: three to five
seconds will leave the assailant dazed and temporarily paralyzed.
The stun baton will also deliver a shock when touched six inched
from the tip, to prevent an assailant from grabbing it and taking
it away.
However, because the amperage of the
Stun Master Stun Batons is very low, no serious or permanent
injury will be inflicted.
How do the Stun Master™ Stun Batons work?
The Stun Master™ Stun Batons are designed to key into the nervous system. It dumps
its energy into the muscles at a high pulse frequency that makes the
muscles work very rapidly but not efficiently. This rapid work cycle
depletes the blood sugar by converting it into lactic acid in just seconds. The resulting energy loss makes it
extremely difficult to move
and function. At the same time, the tiny neurological impulses that
travel throughout the body to direct muscle movement are
interrupted. This causes disorientation and loss of balance and
leaves the attacker in a passive and mentally confused condition for several
minutes. Should the attacker be touching you, the current will

As
a general rule, a one-half second contact will repel and startle the
attacker, giving some pain and muscle contraction. One to two
seconds will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state. Over
three seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control, mental
