Robber Caught By Purse Snatching!

Ah yes, another victorious story about what appeared to be an easy prey purse snatching of an innocent looking 77 year old woman that stopped a robber! This happened at a Kangaroo Express in Jacksonville Florida. The Kangaroo Express in Brooksville Florida sure could have used her in their store a day before as they were also robbed!
The suspect in the Brooksville store showed a knife and demanded cash from the clerk shortly after 10 pm. Luckily nobody was hurt in this incident. Now the store in Jacksonville! A 20 year old man walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk demanding cash.
When the money from the till wasn’t enough for him, it was then that he reached for the elderly woman’s purse. Little did he know she was armed with pepper spray on her key chain!
Chief David Stevens of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office stated, “She got him good in the face”! The police picked him up a short distance away. This punk was linked to six other robberies in January alone on the city’s south side by surveillance footage and from witness identifications.
