Memorial Day
Being born an Army brat I especially couldn’t let Memorial Day go by without remembering those who served our country. As I have mentioned in the past, my father was one of the first troops in Vietnam. He died a long agonizing death in 1997 from agent orange related prostate cancer that spread throughout his body. He was the nicest man you could’ve ever met, and had given several the shirt off his back. He never deserved to die the way he did, nor did all the others who have served our country. Let’s remember and appreciate all of our nation’s Veterans this Memorial Day.
